Claire Chzran

Claire Chrzan grew up in the suburbs and has lived in Chicago for the last 10 years. For Strawdog she has designed The Night Season and After Miss Julie,and collaborations between Strawdog and the Forks and Hope Ensemble, including The Pied Piper and Best Beloved: The Just so Stories.

As a full-time freelance lighting designer, Claire has also had the pleasure of designing with A Red Orchid, Haven, Manual Cinema, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Sideshow, Jackalope, First Floor Theatre, About Face, The Gift, and more.

Claire also works as a production stage manager for various dance companies, affording her the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally on tour.
