Kyle Hamman is originally from North Little Rock, Arkansas. After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University, Kyle ended up at Actors Theatre of Louisville where he spent 10 months in the basement of the theatre as an acting apprentice.

After Louisville, Kyle moved back to Chicago and was lucky enough to walk into the part of Skinner in Mary-Arrchie’s production of "The Freedom of the City". Kyle received a Jeff nomination for Best Actor.

Kyle joined the Strawdog Ensemble in the summer of 2000. He met his wife here in 2002. They got married in 2004.

Kyle has performed in numerous shows at Strawdog. You can count them up to your right. "Old Town" marked Kyle's mainstage directing debut for Strawdog.
