Paul joined the Strawdog ensemble after his performance as Father Toulon in the first round of Red Noses in 2009. Other Strawdog credits include Big Love and the Red Noses remount, both directed by Artistic Associate Matt Hawkins, The Petrified Forest and The Good Soul of Szechuan, directed by Artistic Associate Shade Murray, and The Duchess of Malfi, directed by Brandon Bruce. Other credits around town include The Language Archive at Piven Theatre Workshop, The Metal Children at Next Theatre, The Attempters at The House Theatre, The Burnt Part Boys and Company at Griffin Theatre, The Crucible and Bright Room Called Day at Speaking Ring Theatre, and multiple performances with Quest Theatre Ensemble. Look for him this summer in Chicago Shakespeare's Production of Since, I Suppose produced in partnership with Melbourne-based One Step at a Time Like This. Paul was a recent recipient of a CAAP Grant through the City of Chicago, allowing him to study voice and movement in New York with Ruth Maleczech and Sharon Fogarty of Mabou Mines.
